Patna: A fire broke out in a domestic gas warehouse at Sant Ghat, adjacent to the city of Bettiah, in Bihar late Thursday night. After the fire, the sound of explosions started to be heard one by one in the cylinders kept in the warehouse. The sound of the explosion and the flames rising from the warehouse were visible far away in the city. This caused panic in the surrounding area. 

It has been learned that the magnitude of the fire can be gauged from the fact that the road passing by the godown has also melted with heat. At the same time, many vehicles kept in the warehouse were also burnt to ashes. People in the vicinity gave information about this to the police administration. According to the information received, DM and SP also reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. After a lot of hard work, the flames of the fire were controlled. However, the warehouse burned to ashes during this period. The fire brigade team personnel are engaged in extinguishing the fire in the warehouse. Efforts are being made to completely overcome the fire.

On the other hand, fire brigade vehicles from Motihari were also called to the spot after seeing the flames of fire. At the same time, more than 12 ambulances led by civil surgeons also reached the spot. It is said that there is no habitation in the vicinity of the gas godown about two hundred meters, otherwise, it would have been a big event.
