Lahore: The Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday postponed the hearing of two cases related to the mastermind Hafiz Saeed of the Mumbai terror attack. Saeed is the leader of the banned Jamaat-ud-Dawa. According to a report by The Express Tribune, ATC was initially going to deliver a verdict against the Jamaat's boss on February 8.

A two-member bench headed by Justice Kasim Khan will now hear the case on 18 February. Dawn News has told in its news that Saeed is facing 29 cases including terror financing, money laundering, and illegal land grab. On February 6, a decision was reserved against him in two cases. On February 8, ATC delayed delivering its verdict in matters related to Terror Funding and decided to hear arguments on behalf of all parties before passing judgment on 11 February.

The court has recorded the statements of 23 witnesses. Let us tell you that Hafiz Saeed had done a new trick to postpone the decision. At the same time, he gave an application before the ATC court on Saturday, 8 February 2020, requesting that all the cases of terrorist funding running against him should be clubbed and the verdict be given only after the joint hearing of the two cases.
