Kabul: Militants on Saturday attacked a gurudwara in Kabul, the capital of Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. The terrorists have carried out many explosions here. Bjp leader and Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) chairman Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that an explosion has been reported in the Gurudwara in Kabul. The blasts took place on Saturday morning. Sirsa has held discussions with Gurnam Singh, head of Gurudwara Karte Parwan. Gurnam has sought international support for Sikhs in Afghanistan.

Sirsa said that so far 3 people have left (from the gurudwara), out of which 2 have been taken to the hospital. A Muslim guard has been killed in the attack on the gurudwara. It is being told that 7-8 people are still trapped inside the gurudwara, but the number has not been confirmed. Firing is still going on at the scene. Islamic terror group ISIS Khurasan is suspected to be behind the attack. Replying to media queries on the attacks, External Affairs Ministry (MEA) official spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, "We are deeply concerned by the news of the attack on the holy gurudwara. We are closely monitoring the situation and waiting for information about the incident.

Let us know that since the Taliban took power, terrorist activities have increased throughout Afghanistan. On Friday, Afghan Ambassador to India Farid Mamundje, appointed by the previous Ashraf Ghani government, had said that the people of Afghanistan were once again facing the worst phase. The country is facing an economic, security and political crisis.
