New Delhi: Holland MP Robert Geert Wilders has expressed his displeasure over the violence that broke out across the country in the name of alleged insult to the Prophet Muhammad of Islam by suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. He said that criminals and terrorists indulge in street violence to express their religious intolerance and hatred.

Wilders, the head of Holland's largest party and the leader of the opposition in parliament, wrote in a tweet that, 'Only criminals and terrorists use street violence to express their religious intolerance and hatred. Stop being tolerant of the intolerant. We cherish life, they cherish death.' Appealing to support Nupur Sharma, he said that freedom of expression should have a price. He has said that, 'We support freedom. Courageous Nupur Sharma is the epitome of our strength. Support him!'
 
In his next tweet, Geert shared a screenshot of the threat threatening Nupur Sharma by the fundamentalists and wrote, 'This is why I am supporting the courageous Nupur Sharma. Hundreds of death threats. It makes me even more determined to support him. Because, evil can never win. never.'
