Srinagar: A major anti-terror operation by security forces is underway against terrorists in the Poonch district of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Intelligence agencies are keeping an eye on every activity of terrorists under this operation. There are also reports that terrorists may carry out grenade attacks on security forces in confusion. An alert has also been sounded in the Anantnag district for the same.

According to reports, two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist groups, including eight terrorists and a guide, have been hiding in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) for the past three days. They want to infiltrate and come to the Poonch district. Here terrorists can commit a major terrorist act. According to reports, a 9-day search operation has been going on in the forests of Poonch in search of the militants who killed the jawans. Security forces in Poonch, Kashmir, have received inputs from the movement of 5 terrorists. It is said that the movement took place on October 14 and 15, after which the security forces have become alert.

Terrorists are attacking civilians in confusion after the anti-terror operation. It also targeted workers working in Kashmir from outside. Two Bihar workers were killed by terrorists in Kulgam on Sunday. Incidents of selective killing of minorities in the Kashmir Valley have suddenly increased. Militants have killed 11 civilians in the Valley this month.
