Baramulla: A central reserve police force (CRPF) team was reportedly attacked with a grenade by suspected militants on Khanpora Bridge in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Friday. Four CRPF jawans and a civilian were injured in the incident. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

A senior police officer said that the suspects are hiding somewhere in the area after committing the crime. A search operation is being carried out to nab them. Just two days ago, suspected terrorists hurled a grenade at a police team in Baramulla district, but there was no loss of life or property. This incident took place around five o'clock on Wednesday evening.

At that time, a grenade was hurled at the police patrolling team at Drusus in the Rafiabad area here. The grenade fell to the roadside and exploded. On Thursday night, suspected Pakistani drones were seen hovering at three different locations in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials said the drones were spotted at the same time in Bari-Brahmin, Chiladya, and Gagwal areas. The drones were seen at a time when police shot down a Pakistani drone carrying five kilograms of IED explosives in the nearby border Kanchak area here about a week ago.
