Srinagar: Terrorists have been in the fray since the Central government announced the re-settling of Kashmiri Pandits in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Since the announcement, they are constantly attacking non-Muslims and non-Kashmiris living in Kashmir. The latest case has come to light from Kulgam in south Kashmir where two non-Kashmiri labourers have been brutally killed by terrorists. In the last 15 days, 11 civilians have been killed by terrorists in Kashmir.

The deceased have been identified as Raja and Joginder Dev from Bihar. The injured person has been identified as Chunchun Dev. An eyewitness has said, 'We were sitting in our room when one of our colleagues came and said that three of our men had been shot. We took them to a hospital where doctors declared two dead.'' Another eyewitness said, "They (the workers) were shot six times by the terrorists. I don't know how many terrorists were inside the room. It is estimated that more than 50,000 labourers are currently living in the Valley.''

Jammu and Kashmir Police have confirmed the incident. The state police said, two non-local labourers located in the Wanpoh area of Kulgam were killed and indiscriminately opened fire. Two people were killed and 1 injured in the terror incident. At present, security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
