Mumbai: An attack alert has been issued in the country's financial capital Mumbai in view of Republic Day. Expressing the possibility of an airstrike in Shivaji Park, Dadar, Mumbai, the police have declared the area a no-flying zone. According to the news received from the sources, the Mumbai Police has received such inputs in which it has been said that there may be an airstrike on Shivaji Park in the city on 26 January. Acting on inputs, the Mumbai Police has increased the security of the city. A no-flying zone has been declared over there till the Republic Day event, we are awaiting more official information from Mumbai Police on this matter.

On the other hand, in view of the Republic Day celebrations, the Delhi Police banned the flight of sub-conventional aerial vehicles over the national capital due to security reasons. Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora has issued an order that aerial vehicles like para-gliders, para-motors, hang-gliders, UAVs, UAS, microlight aircraft, remotely piloted aircraft, hot air balloons, small powered aircraft will not be allowed in the city.

Police have issued a guideline that some criminal or anti-social elements or terrorists who are enemies of India may pose a threat to the security of the general public, dignitaries, and important establishments by using sub-conventional aerial platforms like para-gliders.
