More than a half-dozen new Tesla Model Y electric vehicles have been spotted at the firm's Texas Gigafactory, after the company's announcement that manufacturing will begin by the end of 2021. The image of Model Ys that has been circulating on social media appears to be fresh new from the factory, indicating that production has already begun.
Although it is perfectly probable, there is no evidence that the cars were built within the Texas Gigafactory.
According to earlier reports, the EV company has been ramping up its giant casting operation at the Gigafactory to build Model Y bodies, with some car bodies observed late in December.
