Conflict with China is increasing in Ladakh. China is also increasing the number of weapons to show its strength in the border area. But there is bad news in the event of deadlock with China. The supply of antitank bombs to the Indian Army has been disrupted. Odisha's firing range management has not allowed entry to the technical team known for testing bombs due to the Corona epidemic. Jabalpur-based Ordnance Factory Company Khamaria (OFK) has to supply 11500 bombs to the army. A consignment of three thousand bombs is ready. Only after testing it is allowed to supply to the army.

These bombs were to be tested in March. But due to corona infection and lockdown, every important work was postponed. The trial was delayed by three months. Even after being unlocked, the 14-day quarantine obligation of the team in permission from Balasore firing range of Odisha has caught the screw. The Ministry of Defense has taken cognizance of the matter. Efforts have been intensified to supply the troops to the army by completing the tests soon. After the Indo-Russian Transfer of Technology (TOT) agreement, the first batch of infallible 125 mm FSAPDS (antitank bomb) has been prepared for the army at a cost of Rs 130 crore.

OFK has prepared a bomb-making action plan. This project is being considered very big. Because in this plan, in the year 2019-20, the target was to build 11500 modern antitank bombs. It also faced a shortage of raw material (raw material) in completing the production work, so only three thousand anti-tank bombs could be produced in this factory in 2019-20.

According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Defense, the factory administration sent the Balasore firing range for the testing consignment of antitank bombs in February-March. The OFK administration wants the new antitank bombs produced after the Indo-Russian TOT agreement to be tested at the firing range in the presence of the factory's team. The military administration says that due to Corona infection, no civilian will be allowed to enter the firing range. Due to this, the testing of anti-tank bombs has been stalled for the last three months.
