The preparations for marriage are going on in full swing in the house of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, Congress state president Nana Patole, ministers Gulabrao Patil, Jitendra Awhad and now BJP leader Harshvardhan Patil. Former Cooperative Minister Harshvardhan Patil's daughter Ankita Patil is about to become the daughter-in-law of the Thackeray family. Ankita Patil is currently a member of pune zilla parishad and also director of indian sugar mills association. Nihar is the son of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray's late son Bindu Madhav Thackeray. He is working as an advocate in Mumbai. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray is nihar's cousin and MNS chief Raj Thackeray is the cousin. Harshvardhan Patil has visited Raj Thackeray's house and invited him to get married. Harshvardhan Patil was earlier in the Congress and joined the BJP just before the 2019 assembly elections. Harshvardhan Patil is also known as the kadawar leader. He is a 4-time MLA from Indapur assembly seat in Pune district. Harshvardhan Patil also holds the record of serving as a minister in all state governments from 1995 to 2014.
He has also won as an independent candidate in 1995, 1999 and 2004. In 2009, he contested on a Congress ticket. In 1995, he supported the Shiv Sena-BJP government and was also made a minister.
