Thala Ajith and Nayanthara starrer Viswasam recived the rave reviews at the box office.  Despite being clashing with another biggie Petta, it is setting new benchmarks at the ticket windows. Viswasam currently hold the second spot in the list of the biggest hit of Tamil Nadu after Baahubali 2 and is expected to beat the Prabhas and Anushka Shetty starrer very soon.

Viswasam has also recorded the highest number footfalls in Tamil Nadu surpassing Mersal and 7am Arivu. Considering the public response, it is expected that the film set new benchmarks at the ticket windows. Talking about Viswasam, it marks the fourth collaboration between the director Siva and Ajith after Vedhalam, Veeram and Vivegam. It also features Vivek, Thambi Ramaiah, Yogi Babu, Bose Venkat and Kovai Sarala in main roles.

On the work front, Thala Ajith will soon start shooting for remake of Pink. The film will be directed by Vinoth and Boney Kapoor will bankroll it. Shoojit Sircar, the producer of the film earlier confirmed the news of Tamil.
