Finally, it appears that there is a solution. According to sources, Thalapathy Vijay beat Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to become India's highest-paid actor.

According to recent news reports, Thalapathy Vijay has been paid a whopping 200 crores for his next film. Even the Khans and the top Bollywood actors have not been paid this much. The actor is currently filming Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial debut, Leo. He is expected to take a short break after the film's completion before beginning work on his next project in August. Well, the actor has charged such a high fee for this particular picture. If the rumours are true, then the Thulladha Manamum Thullum actor will be the first in the country to be paid an amount of 200 crores for a film. This is an achievement that no one else has ever accomplished.  

The film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, marks the 68th film in Vijay's career. The film is also expected to be his final before apparently entering politics. This is also the cause for the increasing buzz surrounding the film, as well as the producers spending so much money to bring on the celebrity. If this is actually Vijay's final film, the audience's reaction will be unprecedented in history.
