The biggest star in the South is Thalapathy Vijay. The performer raises the bar in every area, whether it is box office receipts, followers on social media, or pay. Vijay is reportedly on track to make history as the first Indian actor to earn Rs 200 crores from a single movie. 

the source stated that,  "Vijay is one of the highest-paid actors in the country. However, he doesn't earn Rs 200 crore. His salary per film now stands at Rs 125 crore. After the success of Varisu, he increased his salary to Rs 120 crore."

Source further add, "Considering his market pull, box office performances of his films and the digital and satellite rights his films make, producers are willing to shell out a huge sum to rope in Vijay. He can guarantee success, irrespective of what the story is. Hence, producers are willing to take the risk." 

Leo is a gangster thriller that belongs to the LCU, or Lokesh Cinematic Universe, and will have ties to the director's previous films, Kaithi and Vikram. The film's female lead is Trisha Krishnan. Sanjay Dutt, who plays the adversary, also plays Vijay's father in the film, and Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Priya Anand, and others play supporting parts. The film will release in theatres on 19 October.
