Ajay Devgn is all set for his upcoming film starring Thank God. Apart from Ajay Devgn the movie also stars, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh. The first song of the movie is out today. The song Manike is a remake of the hit Sinhala song originally sung by Yohani, who has also lent her voice here.

Speaking about the song, it is a seductive dance by Nora Fatehi, who tries to woo a bewildered Sidharth Malhotra. Fans appreciated the actors’ chemistry and were all praised for Yohani's voice. The video opens with Ajay Devgn, who plays Chitragupt in the film, explaining how lust is a weakness that plagues every man and not just Sidharth’s character. He flicks his fingers magically and out walks an ethereal-looking Nora, the personification of that lust. Chitragupt then instructs Sidharth to control his desires. Manike Mage Hithe is a Sinhala song released in 2020 and sung by Sri Lankan singer Yohani.

Meanwhile, An FIR has been filed by advocate Himanshu Srivastava against the movie in Jaunpur and his petition says, "Chitragupta is regarded as the Lord of Karma and keeps a record of a man's good and bad deeds. Such depiction of Gods can create an unpleasant situation since it hurts religious sentiments." The petition accused Ajay of using "poor jokes" and objectionable words" in the film. Ravi Prakash Pal, Anand Srivastava, Maan Singh, Brijesh Nishad and Vinod Srivastava have also been named as complainants in the petition

About the movie, Thank God is a T-Series Films & Maruti International production, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Anand Pandit and Markand Adhikari and co-produced by Yash Shah. The film is all set to release around Diwali on October 25 this year.
