At the age of only 25, Lyudmila killed 309 people, most of whom were Hitler's soldiers. This is the period when the second world war was going on, and Lyudmila Pavlichenko arrived in Washington in 1942.
However, many observers believe that the Soviet Union used Lyudmila under propaganda. She was even sent to the US by the Soviet High Command. The intention of sending them was to get US support on the Western European Front. Joseph Stalin wanted the Allied forces to attack Europe, and he was also eager about it.
