Land Rover teased the forthcoming 2022 Range Rover on Wednesday, which will make its worldwide debut next week. The fifth-generation Range Rover will be shown on October 26th, and while no specifics about the much-anticipated SUV will be revealed until then, there have been a few tidbits of information coming in recently.
The blurry teaser image of the next Range Rover displays strong body lines and a footprint that may be more prominent than ever before. The vehicle's boxy dimensions appear to have been increased even more, while the iconic floating roofline appears to have been emphasized even more.
According to reports, the Range Rover 2022 has been undergoing intensive testing in Germany. Expect the SUV to undergo plenty of cabin feature improvements based on the new MLA Flex platform to appeal to a younger generation and fight against direct competitors. With the world rapidly heading toward electric cars, it will be fascinating to watch if and when Range Rover gets battery power, even though the premiere model next week is most likely to receive a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine.
There's no indication on when the 2022 Range Rover would arrive in India, but given Jaguar Land Rover's recent involvement in the country, the SUV model may arrive next year.
