Chennai: The Interceptor and Continental GT 650, manufactured by local motorbike maker Royal Enfield, will be available for sale in India in 2023 at starting prices of Rs. 3.03 lakh and Rs. 3.19 lakh, respectively (all prices, ex-showroom).

As part of the MY-2023 upgrade, the motorcycles get alloy wheels and fresh paint job. Both the models get onboard diagnostic device to comply with OBD-2.

Royal Enfield Interceptor and Continental GT 650, which are advertised as two of the most affordable parallel-twin motorcycles in India, now offer cool features like alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, along with new paint schemes, in their MY - as part of. 2023 upgrade.

The updated features on both the bikes were eagerly awaited as, in general, most of the young riders in our team found them to be deal-breakers.

The 2023 Royal Enfield 650 Twins keep the same general shape as the previous model and feature single-piece seats, larger fuel tank and round LED headlights.

The motorcycles are equipped with a squared-off LED taillamp, fork gaiters, a tubular grab rail and a semi-digital twin-pod instrument console. Now the updated Interceptor and Continental GT with tubeless tires and blacked-out alloy wheels are ready to roll.

The 648cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 47hp/52Nm is shared by the 2023 Continental GT 650 and the Royal Enfield Interceptor. A 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch controls the transmission on both the bikes.

Both the 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor and the Continental GT 650 come with dual-channel ABS for better braking performance, along with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels for rider safety. 

Both the retro-inspired motorcycles feature dual shock absorber units at the rear and 41mm telescopic forks with fork gaiters at the front to handle the suspension duties.

The starting price of 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor is Rs. 3.03 lakh in India, while the 2023 Continental GT 650 price starts at Rs. 3.19 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Now both the motorcycles are available for rent on our soil.
