New Delhi: Japanese automaker Nissan's 2023 X-Trail has gone on sale in Australia for AUD 36,750. (Rs 20.28 lakh approximately).

The SUV is available in four trim levels: ST, ST-L, Ti and Ti-L.
Recall that the company showcased the capable four-wheeler in India in October and plans to bring it to our shores in 2023.

In 2005, Nissan made its debut in India. The brand did not succeed in capturing the market, however, until December 2020 saw the launch of the popular compact SUV, the Magnite.

The brand is currently evaluating other capable models such as the Qashqai, Juke and X-Trail after seeing a positive response for the SUV on our shores. The X-Trail will heat up the competition once it is launched.

The 2023 Nissan X-Trail features a powerful bonnet, a large grille surrounded by chrome, bumper-mounted LED headlights, split-type LED DRLs, silver skid plates and a wide air dam.

The SUV is flanked by ORVMs, flared wheel arches and 19-inch designer alloy wheels on the sides. The rear is adorned with shark-fin antenna and wraparound LED taillights.

A 2.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine with 181hp and 244Nm powers the Nissan X-Trail. Also included is a mild hybrid system and a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 161 horsepower. CVT gearbox is in charge of the transmission.

The five- or seven-seat cabin of the 2023 Nissan X-Trail comes equipped with a dual-tone dashboard with wood-finish trims, premium leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control with rear AC vents and a multifunctional steering Wheel.

The SUV gets a 12.3-inch infotainment panel, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-speaker Bose audio system.
Multiple airbags are used for the safety of the passengers.

In Australia, the base ST variant is priced at AUD 36,750 (roughly Rs. 20.28 lakh) and the top-of-the-line Ti-L trim level is priced at AUD 52,990 (roughly Rs. 29.23 lakh). The SUV will reach India by the end of 2023.
