Berlin:  Porsche has teased the 2024 Cayenne for the international markets prior to its official unveiling at Auto Shanghai on April 18.The flagship SUV will get new front and rear fascia, a revised powertrain lineup, and an entirely new cockpit design to boost its appeal overall.

The teaser also showed off the car's newly created HD Matrix LED headlights from the brand.

When it debuted in 2002, the Cayenne completely changed the global market for performance-oriented SUVs. Both customers and critics gave the SUV favourable reviews.

Even after competitors like the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga arrived in the market after it had been the standard for two decades, it is still regarded as the industry standard.With the model for 2024, Porsche now intends to raise the bar.

The 2024 Cayenne will receive minor exterior updates over the model from the current generation.The SUV will have designer alloy wheels, a sculpted bonnet, the brand's HD Matrix LED headlights, a big grille, and a wide air dam.The headlights' 16,384 individually controllable micro-LEDs can cast a light up to 600 metres in front of them. Connected LED taillamps and a roof-mounted spoiler will adorn the back.

The interior of the new Cayenne will receive a significant redesign. With a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 10.9-inch display for the front passenger, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, the SUV will have a large triple-screen setup. It will have a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, and premium leather upholstery. It will have multiple airbags and ADAS features for the safety of the passengers.

The capable 3.0-liter turbo-petrol V6 engine (349 horsepower/500 pound-feet of torque), the powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine (468 horsepower/600 pound-feet of torque), and the economical E-Hybrid system connected to a 25.9 kWh battery will all be available in the upcoming 2024 Porsche Cayenne.

The German automaker will reveal the 2024 Porsche Cayenne's pricing and availability information at its launch event in the upcoming months. The SUV is anticipated to cost more than the current model, which in India has an ex-showroom starting price of Rs. 1.27 crore.In our opinion, if you're searching for a cost-effective performance SUV, you should give the Cayenne serious consideration.
