Berlin: The 2024 version of the 718 Spyder RS has been unveiled by Porsche for international markets, with a starting price of €151,215 (roughly Rs. 1.36 crore). The roadster is anticipated to be the final 718 model to come equipped with an ICE. It will make its public debut in July at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

As a replacement for the legendary 550 Spyder, Porsche unveiled the 718 RS 60 Spyder model in the late 1960s. Both reviewers and customers have praised the open-roof sports car for its excellent manoeuvrability and touring capabilities. The 2024 718 Spyder RS, which also happens to be the final ICE-powered model in the 718 lineup, will carry on its legacy.

The 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS maintains the 718 Cayman model's overall aesthetic. It has two sizable doors with frameless windows, a distinctive removable and manually operated fabric roof, a sculpted hood with decals and air scoops, swept-back LED headlights, and 20-inch forged wheels. To further increase its appeal, a Weissach Package is optional.

The Porsche 718 Spyder RS of 2024 has a sporty dual-tone two-seater interior. It features leather upholstery in shades of Arctic Grey and Carmine Red, racing-style bucket seats made of lightweight CFRP with a carbon-weave finish, a flat-bottomed steering wheel with paddle shifters, fabric door straps, and a fully digital instrument panel. The safety of the passengers will be guaranteed by numerous airbags, ABS, and ESC.

A naturally aspirated, 4.0-liter, six-cylinder Boxer engine from the 911 GT3 will power the 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS. The engine has been tuned to produce 450Nm of maximum torque and 493 horsepower. A 7-speed PDK gearbox handles the transmission's functions.
