Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 28 (NT): As we all know that Bollywood Veteran actor Anupam Kher will next be seen as former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in his upcoming film 'The Accidental Prime Minister', on Wednesday the first looks of actors Arjun Mathur and Aahana Kumra as Congress President Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi revealed respectively.

Taking to micro blogging website Twitter to share a photograph from the set in which the he can be seen as Manmohan Singh while Arjun and Aahana sportedthe looks of Congress scion Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, Anupam tweeted -

"Introducing Arjun Mathur as #ShriRahulGandhi and Aahana Kumra as #MsPriyankaGandhi in our movie 'The Accidental Prime Minister' . @TAPMofficial #OathCeremony #2004 #VijayGutte #SunilBohra," Anupam captioned the image .

 The film is based on the 2014 journal of the same name which is written by Dr Singh's media adviser Sanjay Baru. The film revolves around the life of the great economist and congress politician Dr Singh.

On a related note, Dr Singh has served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014 under the United Progressive Alliance(UPA) .

The Movie also features Akshaye Khanna. He will play a character of Baru, while Suzanne Bernert will portray former Congress president and now UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

The flick is all set to hit the silver screen  on December 21, 2018 . It is directed by debutant Vijay Gutte and written by Hansal Mehta. (NT)
