Lucknow: A surprising case has come to the fore demanding extortion of two crores from the teacher wife of an industrialist from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. After being arrested by the police, during interrogation, the accused informed that he was following the teacher and her husband for a long time. He was trying to extort a huge amount from them. One day he even reached his house with a tiffin, so that he could threaten on the pretext of giving a tiffin. The accused told that he had also gone to the victim's school several times while following her.

Explain that the police registered a case of extortion and threats against the accused and presented him in court from where he got bail. The name of the accused has been described as Amit Kumar Singh and he is a resident of Jungle Kauria in Gorakhpur. Cantt Inspector Shashibhushan Rai told that the teacher, who lives in Daudpur, is posted in the government school of Sahajanwan. Her husband is an industrialist. On 14 October 2022, an unknown youth tried to enter his flat. At that time the security guard Pramod Kumar standing at the door stopped him.

During interrogation, the young man has told that he is going to give tiffin. Later, the young man gave an empty tiffin to the guard and went away. This incident was captured on CCTV. After this, the teacher gave a complaint to the Cantt Police. On October 17, the police registered a case of extortion against the unknown. The teacher alleges that the youth has been following her while going to school for the past one year. Once he rammed his bike into their car in Rustampur and tried to assault her. Later, he also demanded extortion of two crores. Police identified the accused from CCTV and arrested them.
