An investigation is on against 22 other criminals including one Deputy Superintendent of Police in the incident.

On the other hand, a case has come to light from the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. She lodged a complaint with the police station but the police did not take any action. Richa then informed People for Animals Chairman Maneka Gandhi on the call. Maneka called the police and registered an FIR in hurry.
