One of Bollywood's vivacious actresses is Preity Zinta. Although the actress currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and children and is less commonly seen in film, she still travels to India periodically for major occasions and business-related engagements. The actress recently had a visit with the Dalai Lama in Dharamshala and shared photos of the encounter on her social media accounts.

The Dalai Lama sat in a chair close to Preity and Gene who were both lounging on a couch. The site was identified by Preity as Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. Sharing the photos, Preity captioned it, "Ending IPL in Dharamshala was not what I hoped for but meeting his Holiness The Dalai Lama in Dharamshala was everything I hoped for. So grateful we got to spend some time with him as he shared pearls of wisdom & laughter with us (folded hands and red heart emojis) #ting

Preity Zinta recently traveled to Himachal Pradesh with Gene Goodenough and posted numerous pictures and videos to her Instagram account. She can be seen in one image, dressed in Himachali garb, lighting the cooking fire in the manner customary in a "pahadi home."

Preity Zinta most recently appeared in Neeraj Pathak's action comedy "Bhaiji Superhit" in 2018 alongside Sunny Deol. In an episode of the American sitcom "Fresh Off The Boat," she co-starred with Vir Das.

On a personal note, the "Kal Ho Naa Ho" actress married her partner Gene Goodenough in 2016 and relocated to Los Angeles after their union. The couple welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, in 2021 via surrogacyThe actress keeps taking trips to India to visit her friends and family.
