Bhopal: Politics has heated up in Madhya Pradesh after the Supreme Court's decision to conduct panchayat and municipal elections without OBC reservation. Former CM and State Congress President Kamal Nath said that the anti-OBC face of the Shivraj government has come to the fore. Congress state president Kamal Nath said that the anti-OBC face of the Shivraj government has once again come to the fore. The Shivraj government did not want from the beginning that the OBC class should get the benefit of any reservation at any time. All kinds of tricks and conspiracies were being hatched in this regard. Our 15-month government had increased their reservation from 14 per cent to 27 per cent for the benefit and welfare of the OBC class.

The state president of Congress said that after leaving our government, Shivraj government stopped this decision for several months by giving a wrong opinion. Later, when we fought it, the government rectified its mistake and implemented the decision of our government. He said that even in Panchayat elections, urban body elections, the Shivraj government does not want the OBC class to get the benefit of the increased reservation. For this reason, such intricacies were put in the Panchayat elections in the past that the OBC class did not get the benefit of increased reservation.

We had failed this conspiracy of BJP government by fighting a long battle. Still, the Shivraj government did not complete the triple test procedures in time under the direction of the Supreme Court. Half-reported and wrongly presented half-incomplete figures. Even after that, asking for more time, the Supreme Court also commented that when you did not complete the action in time, what will you do next? Thereafter, this decision has come. Kamal Nath said that if the Shivraj government of BJP would have strongly favored the OBCs in the court, kept the figures of the OBCs firmly, then surely today the OBCs would have got the benefit of their increased reservation. The Shivraj government did not want it, so it did not make any serious effort about it. Congress is determined even today that the OBC class should get the benefit of increased reservation in every situation. Panchayat elections and urban body elections should not be held in Madhya Pradesh without OBC reservation. We are with OBC class regarding this, we will not sit silent. We will study today's verdict, discuss with legal experts. For this we will fight from road to house.
