USA: Later this year could see the release of Apple's eagerly anticipated Reality Pro Mixed Reality headset. Its price can be $ 3,000 (about Rs 2.44 lakh). With this headset, the company hopes to invigorate the VR market after spending more than seven years on it. Here's all the information you need about the upcoming futuristic device from Apple.

Aluminum, glass and cushion will be used to build Apple's upcoming mixed-reality headset. It will have two front speakers, two ultra-high-resolution curved screens made by Sony, and a headband. Also, the company will provide users with magnetically attachable prescription eyewear. The product will have a variety of external cameras that are hidden. It will get a physical crown to enable users to switch between AR and VR.

Realme Pro users will be able to track their hands and eyes. The user's hands would be examined by external cameras, and their eyes read by internal sensors. The wearer will be able to control/select on-screen items using this hand-eye tracking functionality without actually doing so. To confirm an action or selection, users have to pinch their thumb and forefinger together.

AR and VR experience will be available on Apple's headset. Users of VR will be able to see content related to the virtual world. But AR will overlay digital content on the real scene. The immersive video content will be available with the Mixed Reality headset. It will act like an iPhone/iPad or act as an external display for a Mac. Meeting spaces and video conferencing using FaceTime will also be included.

An Apple M2 chip variant and a separate "reality" processor for graphics and mixed reality experiences will power the Reality Pro. The xrOS operating system will boot on the device. It will have an interface similar to the iPhone and iPad, with a home screen that can be customized with icons for things like Safari, Photos, Mail, Messages, and more. Apple will also allow third-party apps to be downloaded from the App Store.

Users will be able to rely on Siri to enter text when using the Mixed Reality headset as it will support Siri. Additionally, users will be able to input data using the keyboard on their iPhone, Mac, or iPad. Signs claim that Apple is currently developing a technology that will enable users to type in the air.

One of the most notable features of the realme Pro headset will be gaming.
Apple has asked developers to create games and services for the headset by creating their own internal engine to support VR games. The device is also expected to offer ultra-low latency connection with items like AirPods to provide a seamless experience for these games using wireless audio products.

Apple has made the decision to move the headset's battery to an external pack. As a result, a hot-swappable waist-mounted battery setup is provided along with a cable connection to the device. The battery will get about two hours of use.

The mixed-reality headset appears to be Apple's attempt to create a 3D operating system for the iPhone that includes features like eye and hand tracking. The product could be unveiled at WWDC 2023 in June, and shipments could start later this year for $3,000 (roughly Rs. 2.44 lakhs). The company expects to sell one million headsets in the first year of availability.
