Former Australia cricket batsman Dean Jones says former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) is best suited to play No.4 for India in the remaining matches of the World Cup 2019. Jones further says that Vijay Shankar is not at all suitable to play on this order and Jones has also asked Ravindra Jadeja to be fed.

Jones is of the opinion that while England's pitches are getting slow now, Jadeja as a spinner can prove to be quite useful for India and he goes on to say, "When the team is winning, I don't Want usually flirt with it. However, I have some concerns about playing at No. 4. I believe Dhoni is the most suitable player to play at this spot.

Like Jones, India's vice-captain Rohit Sharma had earlier said that Dhoni should play at No.4. This is because this place is perfectly suitable for this wicketkeeper-batsman.

All-rounder Irfan Pathan believes that wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik should also be included in the final XI and should bat at No.4.
