In order to keep its Hindu vote bank strong, the BJP has started gathering information on the booth level in Uttar Pradesh, where the monasteries, temple and ashrams are located. The party is also gathering information about Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes to make strategies for 2019 Lok Sabha elections on the basis of caste and religion.

The party's state unit has started distributing the form to 1.4 lakh booth level in charge for this in which name of the religious place, its location, the name of the concerned priest and their mobile number will be written.
