Lucknow: A shocking case has been witnessed from UP Pilibhit. The body of a minor girl was found naked in a sugarcane field outside the village at Police station Barkheda. It has been revealed that the cloth was stuffed in the student's mouth and a scarf was found around her neck.

Villagers have said that the girl did not return home for the past day, after which the father registered a missing case. Now that her body has been found, the victim's father has registered a case of gang rape and murder against unidentified persons in the police. Police have also started investigating the case. Former cabinet minister Hemraj Verma reached the spot and consoled the family members of the deceased student. Also, the police have been asked to disclose the incident at the earliest.

Family members write report about not returning home till late evening: According to reports, the girl was from a village in the Barkheda area. When she did not return home late last evening, the family lodged a missing report with the police station. After which the body of the student was found naked in a sugarcane field 500 metres from the village late at night. At the same time, her bicycle, shoes and books were found at the scene. In addition, 4 beer bottles and cigarette remains were lying near the baby's body.
