Stella Stevens is one of the most renowned actors in Hollywood of her time. The actress became famous as a sex symbol. She was among the A-lister actress in the 1960s. Her name came with actresses like Brigitte Bardot, Ann Margret, and Raquel Welch, but who came to resent the male-dominated industry. She was 84. 

She ruled Hollywood in the 1960s and 1970s. Stella was suffering from complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She died on February 17 at a nursing home in Los Angeles. Her life was full of struggles. Before making it into the Hollywood Industry the actress spent her life in every difficulty. A pregnant minor mother who gave birth to her child as a single mother faced a lot of difficulties and hurdles at the start.

She was born Estelle Eggleston. She got her first big acting break after starring in a Memphis State University production of the play Bus Stop, which was reviewed by a local paper. Estelle Caro Eggleston in Yazoo City, Mississippi, married when she was 16 years old, gave birth to her only child, who is now an actor and producer named Andrew Stevens, when she was 17 years old, and was divorced two years later. While attending Memphis State University, she began modelling and acting.

She made her film debut in the 1959 musical Say One For Me, which also starred Bing Crosby and Debbie Reynolds. In 1960, she won a New Star of the Year award at the Golden Globes, signed a contract with Paramount Pictures, and became a Playboy Playmate of the Month.  She earned further recognition in the 1963 comedy "The Nutty Professor," starring Jerry Lewis, as the love interest of Jerry Lewis' geeky Professor Kelp that made her famous.
