Dehradun: An incident of rape of a girl, a resident of a village in Sidcul in Uttarakhand, has come to light on the pretext of marriage. The girl has also accused of forced abortion. The police have registered a case of rape and assault on a boy on the complaint of the girl, assaulting, abusing and threatening to kill on the complaint of the girl.
In fact, in 2016, a boy from the neighbourhood used to come to her house frequently. Which made them friends. As the closeness grew, the boy took her to a hotel in Roorkee on the pretext of his birthday. It is alleged that the boy forcibly had a physical relationship with her by feeding her something intoxication there, when she regained consciousness and opposed, the boy promised to marry her. It is alleged that the boy started having a continuous physical relationship after that, when it came to marriage, he kept avoiding it.
It is alleged that in the meantime, the girl became pregnant. When the culprit informed the boy about it, he became ablaze and hurled abuses and beat her up. It is alleged that he forcibly aborted her with one of his acquaintances. It is alleged that on the evening of May 25, the criminal boy entered her house with his family members and hurled abuse and assaulted her. She suffered serious injuries in it. A complaint in this regard was also made to Sidcul police and SSP. But no action was taken. Tired, had to take refuge in the court. Inspector Pramod Kumar Uniyal, SHO, said that a complaint has been lodged against Praveen Kumar's son Sevaram resident Mohalla Najarpura Mangalore under various sections including rape.
