The recently introduced Hunter 350 motorcycle, according to Royal Enfield, would only strengthen its already promising prospects in the Indian motorcycle industry. Since the Hunter 350's launch last month, Royal Enfield claims there has been an "unprecedented demand" for it, which the company cites as a clear sign of this trend.

In total, Royal Enfield sold just over 70,000 motorcycles in August, a healthy increase over the 49,000 or so units sold in the corresponding month in 2021. The relatively recent J platform models like Classic Reborn and Meteor 350 may possibly be to blame for the 53% increase in sales. Although the firm offers eight models to Indian clients, including the Scram 411, Himalayan, Continental GT 650, Interceptor 650, and the Bullet, the Hunter 350 currently gets the majority of the spotlight. “We launched the Hunter 350 early this month, and the motorcycle has received an unprecedented response since then," said B Govindarajan, CEO, of Royal Enfield. “We are seeing incremental volumes with this launch, and the initial bookings for the new motorcycle have been very promising."

One of the motorcycles in the Royal Enfield lineup with the lowest price is the Hunter 350. It comes in two different variations. Retro and Metro are available. Priced at 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the Retro variant is less expensive than the Metro variant, which costs 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Specs

The J platform is the foundation for the Hunter 350. The Classic Reborn and Meteor 350 are built on the same basis. The same 349 c, air-oil cooled engine that powers the Hunter 350's maximum output of 20.2 horsepower and peak torque of 27 Nm is employed. It is connected to a 5-speed transmission. The engine might be the same as other motorcycles but Royal Enfield has returned the fuel and ignition map so that it suits the nimble characteristics of the Hunter 350.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Looks

The Hunter 350 may be the Royal Enfield motorcycle that looks the most contemporary. With a novel tail lamp design, compact size, and a circular halogen headlamp, it has some scrambler features. Additionally, the 17-inch wheels are a first for Royal Enfield. Due to all of this, clients wishing to graduate to a 350 cc motorbike will find the Hunter 350 to be quite approachable.
