Chhindwara: A strange incident has come to light from Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, in which the bride kept waiting for the groom on the wedding day, but the groom did not reach with the procession. In anger, the bride's side reached the police station to file a complaint. What came out later was very shocking. Giving information about the matter, the station in-charge of the countryside police station said that the groom had a love affair with someone else. When his girlfriend came to know about this, she filed a case against the groom in the police station, due to which the groom did not reach the bride's house with the procession.
At present, the police has started investigating the matter. The case is of Newton of Parasia, Tehsil of Chhindwara. Here the marriage of a girl was fixed with constable Sonu Salakia posted in Betul police station, who is a resident of Shivpuri. Both were to get married on Sunday. On the wedding day, the bride's side was waiting for the procession, but the procession did not come. They thought that due to some reason the procession must have been late. Waited for a long time but still the procession did not reach.
Due to the absence of the same procession, the guests who came to the wedding also started going back to their homes. Angered by this, the bride's side went straight to the countryside police station. There he lodged a complaint against the groom's side. They came to know there that a complaint was already registered against the groom, which was done by his girlfriend. Station Incharge Mahendra Bhagat said that Sonu Salakia is posted as a constable in Betul police station, who was having a love affair with another girl. She is also a resident of Betul. When Sonu's girlfriend came to know that he was going to marry another girl, she also filed a case against Sonu in the police station. Due to which Sonu did not reach the bride carrying the procession. Now the bride's side has also filed a case against the groom's side for not coming to the procession. On the other hand, CSP of Chhindwara, Santosh Dehria said that the bride's side is being interrogated in the matter. Police is probing the matter thoroughly.
