The case is being described as Bhadesi village in Moffussil police station area where on Thursday morning, the young woman was forcibly poisoned under pressure to marry the groom.

He was then admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment and was referred to Patna by doctors from there. Police are also reportedly linking the incident to a love affair. According to reports, the girl, who was a SCHEDULED Tola resident of Bhadia village, had earlier lived in Delhi with her parents and came to her village for seven months and was living with her mother. After that, while living in Delhi, she fell in love with a boy and the family decided to marry a young man from another village against her will.

The young woman saw the groom's photo and talked about the boy's face, he got upset and ate the poison.
