People of Bihar know the art of staying happy even in unfavourable situations. Something similar is witnessed in Muzaffarpur, where the groom did not even care about the floods in order to bring his bride to the Sakra block. After crossing the floodwaters, he reached with his relatives to tie knots. Some villagers have gathered to witness this unique marriage.

The procession came from Mussapur village of Tajpur police station in Samastipur to Bhatandi village of Sakra in Muzaffarpur. The marriage of Mohammed Hassan Raza, son of Mohammad Iqbal of Mussapur and Mazda Khatoon, daughter of Mohammed Shaheedad of Marhum of Sakra Bhatndi village, was scheduled to take place, in the meantime, the embankment of the Tirhut canal in Mohammadpur Kothi of Mural engulfed the village in flood. The two sides thought of changing the date of marriage, but the matter did not work and it was decided to do the marriage on the same date. Even in the village surrounded by water, the bararatis danced fiercely, and after getting married, the groom also took the bride with him.

In Bhatandi village surrounded by floodwaters, tents were brought for marriage. Before going the groom inspected the situation and then told about the difficulties in going to the bride's residence, but the people bowed down in front of the boy's insistence. The groom's car reached the border of Bhatandi village. Seeing the water at first, the people were stunned, but then the groom left his car and crossed the flood water with the relatives and reached the bride's house. During this time, the locals helped to take the groom and the baraatis safely to the other side, and the marriage took place.
