Japan is known for its fast speed bullet train, punctuality and its efficient management. That is why bullet trains in Japan attract foreign tourists, but now hundreds of passengers were in trouble because of the error caused by a bullet train driver there. In fact, when the bullet train was running at a speed of more than 150 km, the driver left the cabin and went to the bathroom due to severe stomach ache.

The same incident took place on May 16 when the bullet train driver left the cabin and went out to the bathroom. The driver did the same when the train was running at a speed of 150 kmph (90 mph). The 36-year-old driver, Hikari, was out of the cockpit of bullet train number 633 for about three minutes. There were 160 passengers on board the train.

The driver had given the responsibility of the train to a conductor who did not have a licence to run the train, which was running between Atami station and Mishima station in Shizuoka province at around 8:15 pm Local Time in Japan. Conductors on bullet trains in Japan handle trains and unloading and other tasks, but they do not operate the train. The driver of the bullet train later apologised saying that he had been holding the toilet for a long time due to which he started having stomach ache. He said the train did not stop at the nearest station as he did not want to delay.
