Patna: A major road accident is reported in Bagha, Bihar. Here a bus full of baratis collided with a truck. After which more than 20 Baratis were seriously injured. More than 40 people were reportedly present on the bus. The accident was caused by dense fog. A bus full of baratis collided head-on with a truck near Baikunthwa Devi place in Ramnagar on Lauria Ramnagar main road in Bagha.
More than 20 Baratis on board the bus were seriously injured in the accident. The seriously injured baratis were then evacuated from the bus by people nearby and police who rushed to the spot and then admitted them to Ramnagar PHC. Earlier all the injured were given first aid at the local PHC. The seriously injured people have since been referred for better treatment.
It is being told that the collision between the truck and the bus was so severe that the front parts of both got damaged and entered each other. After which the drivers of the truck and the bus were also trapped inside it. JoCB machine was used to rescue both the drivers trapped in the bus. After the separation of the vehicle, they were evacuated and both were taken for treatment. All the injured aboard the bus were treated at the local PHC. Dr. M. D. Kazim, the doctor present in the PAC, treated everyone first. After this, those whose condition was critical were referred to Sadar Hospital.
