NEW DELHI: On the International Day of Yoga, the country's capital is all set to make a new record. For the first time since 2015, Delhi has completed its preparations for record-breaking yoga. On Tuesday, 8 grounds including Rajpath and Lalkila have also been inspected. The AYUSH Ministry estimates that 8 to 10 lakh people will do yoga in Delhi.

On June 21, PM Modi will perform yoga with 50,000 people in Ranchi. It will be broadcast live across the country. Ayush Ministry teams have also left Delhi on Tuesday. The final rehearsal will take place on June 19. So far 76 lakh 98 thousand 271 people have taken the oath to be part of the International Day of Yoga by visiting the AYUSH Ministry's website.

Besides, registration is also going on through Bhuvan and Yoga Locator mobile app. Yoga Day will also be celebrated in China, Japan, Korea, Sudan, England, New Zealand, the United States, Australia, Brazil, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. This time, the government has decided to celebrate Yoga Day as Eco-Friendly. Soon, yoga-related items and clothes will be available all over the country. The government has launched a massive campaign to remove plastic from yoga.
