Bhopal: A businessman and a woman died tragically in a road accident on the Bhopal-Indore road on Thursday. The businessman and the woman were on their way from Bhopal to Sehore on a motorcycle due to which a speeding car hit them and both of them lost their lives in the accident. The accident took place near Sonam Patel Dhaba under the Khajuri Road police station area.
According to the information received from the same police, a man and a woman sitting in a motorcycle in front of Sonam Patel Dhaba on Bhopal-Indore road were hit by a speeding car. The bike rider and the woman sitting behind were seriously injured in the accident. The criminal car driver left the vehicle and fled from the spot. As soon as the news of the case was received, police rushed to the spot and with the help of an ambulance, sent the injured persons to Hamidia Hospital. Both of them died due to treatment.
The police identified the deceased and contacted the family members from the woman's phone. The deceased has been identified as Pratibha's father Shankarlal Mehra (38 years) resident of Kargil Colony. According to the information received from the family, Pratibha was a teacher in a private school. The deceased was identified by the call on his mobile phone. The man has been identified as Famid's father Abdul Majeed (45 years) resident of 4 Imli. He used to trade in catering. The family members of both the woman and the dead man do not know where they both went to go. The same bodies have been handed over to the family members after the post-mortem.
