Bangalore: Students who participated in the protest by boycotting the examination over the Hijab controversy in Karnataka have suffered a major setback. The state government has refused to give a second chance to such students to appear in the practical exam. Hundreds of PU 2 students in the state had participated in the protests in support of the hijab. On March 15, the Karnataka High Court had upheld the state government's order regarding uniforms in educational institutions.

Let us tell you that in Karnataka class 12 is called PU 2. The special thing is that the government had indicated to take the exam again two days ago. However, on Sunday, the government has removed this option for students who are 'missing' from the practical exam. Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh has said, 'How can we even consider its possibilities?' He said that, 'Even after the interim order of the High Court, if those students who were boycotting the practical examination for not being allowed to wear the hijab in the examination are allowed, then other students will also come up with some other reason. And will ask for a second chance. it's not possible.' Let us inform that in PU examinations, there are 30 marks for practical and 70 for theory.

Judge has received death threats:-

The state government has provided Y category security to the judges of the Karnataka High Court, who delivered the verdict on the burqa-hijab case. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai has announced this on 20 March (Sunday). With this, the police have so far arrested two accused in the case of threatening the judges. Kovai Rahmatullah is also included in the arrested accused.

According to media reports, a complaint has been lodged against those making threats at Vidhana Soudha police station. It is noteworthy that a few days ago a video of Madurai in Tamil Nadu went viral on social media. In this video, Kovai Rahmatullah, a member of Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamaat, was openly threatening the judges who gave their verdict on the hijab. In the video, he was saying that, 'If anything happens to the judges, he himself will be responsible for it. The judge who gave wrong verdict was killed during morning walk in Jharkhand.
