Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday arrived in Telangana's capital Hyderabad to attend the ongoing two-day national executive meeting of the BJP. Due to this, only one Minister of the KCR Government arrived to receive him at the airport. Whereas normally, whenever the PM goes to the capital of a state, the Governor, CM and other ministers of the state arrive at the airport to welcome him. But this is the third time in five months that Telangana Chief Minister KCR did not arrive at the airport to welcome the Prime Minister. Then, now the BJP attacked Chief Minister KCR.

When Chief Minister KCR did not receive Prime Minister Modi, BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay said that foxes run away when the tiger comes. Now that the tiger has come he (KCR) is running away, we don't know why he is doing this? In the coming days, saffron and lotus flags will be hoisted here.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP national executive meeting here, Union Minister Smriti Irani said it is part of a common practice and rules that a CM welcomes the PM when he comes to his state. By not welcoming Prime Minister Modi, KCR has insulted the institution and not the individual.
