Raipur: Many incidents come to the fore every day across the country, meanwhile an incident has come to light from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, in which a woman police inspector was beaten up by the protesting women. The video of police beating is going viral on social media. The incident is being told of last 10 January. In fact, the police families of Chhattisgarh again demonstrated in Raipur for their demands. Expressing displeasure and outrage, police families from all over the state blocked the National Highway near Bhathagaon on Monday, due to which traffic was affected for several hours. There was also a traffic jam for several kilometers, there were women in large numbers among the agitating families, who continued to raise slogans even after getting wet in the rain for their demands.

In view of the presence of the same women, women police force was also deployed on the spot in large numbers, for a long time the police kept trying to convince the agitators. But the police were not ready to end the traffic jam till their demands were met. Later all the agitators were sent to Raipur Central Jail using police force. Meanwhile, when Trainee IPS Ratna Singh reached to remove him, the protesters grabbed his collar. Thereafter, a woman ASI who had gone to rescue them arrived among the protesters, who was thrashed by the protesting women.

In fact, the police family had a big conference in Raipur last Monday, for which families from different parts of the state had reached. But even before the conference, the police took away Ujjwal Diwan, who was leading the family movement. In protest, the police family blocked the highway for a long time. Let us inform that a committee has been constituted by the state government regarding the demands of the police family, but the protesters allege that their demands have been put in cold storage by forming the committee and hence to plan the protest to be held today.
