Former CM Siddaramaiah's condition stable, treatment of corona continues in hospital

Bengaluru: The Karnataka assembly leader Siddaramaiah's health improved, the hospital administration has informed about this. His corona test had turned positive the previous day, after which he was admitted to the hospital.

Manipal Hospital said in a health bulletin, "Currently he (CM Siddaramaiah) does not have a fever and his health is stable. His treatment has started and he is kept under rigorous monitoring by our experts. His symptoms have improved. And he is healthy right now."

Former Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah told on August 4 that he tested positive for Coronavirus. After this, he himself admitted in the hospital. The CM said in a tweet "My corona test has turned positive and as a precaution, I have been admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. I request all those who came in my contact that gets tested for corona and quarantine yourself at home."

The number of people infected with corona infection has crossed 1.84 crore worldwide, while nearly seven lakh people have died. The cases of corona are increasing in the country. More cases are being filed in India than the US and Brazil. 56,282 Corona cases have been registered, 904 people have also died.
