The report of road accidents has been submitted by the Delhi Traffic Police in 2018, which can make you both shocked and upset. In fact, the report says that a total of 1690 people have died during road accidents in the country's capital in 2018. For your information, a total of 6515 road accidents occurred in Delhi in 2018. Of these, 6086 people were injured. At the same time, 1690 people have died. The number of deaths during this period has increased by 6.69 percent, which is the biggest cause. However, road accidents have decreased by 2.36 percent during the period, which is a relief.These accidents have resulted in the highest number of deaths from Pedestrians. In 2018, 45.86 percent of the total fatalities occurred in the Pedestatrians. Scooters and motorcycle riders are the second most known. A total of 33.72 percent of scooters and motorcycle riders died.

According to the repot,  the number of deaths in frequent road accidents had been on the decline since 2009. However, in 2018 it turned upside down. The report says that Haryana has the most responsible number of accidents in Delhi. Of the 1657 deaths, 150 have been caused by trains registered in Haryana. The report also indicates that 743 deaths have occurred during the day. On the other hand, 914 deaths have occurred at night.
