The Ducati XDiavel Nera Edition has been unveiled. It will be a limited edition motorbike with just 500 pieces manufactured worldwide. It joins the company's current XDiavel line, which includes the XDiavel Dark and sporty XDiavel S.

Ducati partnered with Poltrona Frau, an Italian furniture brand, to create the new XDiavel Nera Edition. Poltrona Frau, for the record, focuses on the high seats for supercars, yachts, and luxury airlines. The new XDiavel Nera Edition, to state the obvious, also benefits from the company's seat experience.

The XDiavel special version has a considerably finer saddle in a sporty red colour. For more oomph, the seat colour is matched to the red on the brake callipers. The motorcycle is available in five different colour combinations: Siam Red, Steel Blue, Cemento, India, and Selva. The bike comes with a matching keychain and a document holder in matching leather, depending on the colour chosen. Furthermore, the bike seat has many 'X' emblems engraved on it, giving it an intimidating look.

Apart from the changes, the rest of the details haven't changed. The motorbike is powered by the same 1262cc V-Twin engine that produces 160bhp and is connected to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike's feature list is likewise unchanged, since it has the same electronic package as the normal XDiavel, including a full-LED headlight with DRL daytime running lights, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Riding Modes, Cruise Control, and Ducati Power Launch (DPL).

The bike is now open for bookings and the deliveries are set to begin in the months to follow. There is no confirmation if some units of this special edition XDiavel will also be allotted for the Indian customers.
