Lucknow: The crisis of CNG is increasing in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Here 12 CNG filling stations have to be closed, because CNG is not being supplied at these stations for the last two days. CNG is supplied in Kanpur from Gujarat. It is being told that in Gujarat also there is a shortage of gas in CNG companies. There are 32 CNG filling stations in Kanpur, out of which CNG is not being distributed due to stoppage of supply in 12 CNG filling stations.

Central U.P. Mohit Khan, Kanpur in-charge of Gas Limited (CUGL), has told that there is a problem due to lack of supply from above, because it is supplied from Russian companies, we are not able to supply all CNG filling stations. CUGL director Hridesh Kumar says that we also supply gas to many industries in Kanpur, we are discussing with the industries, we are trying to supply CNG filling station by cutting some of them. At the same time, the manager of the gas station, which is closed due to lack of CNG, says that the pump is closed here since Saturday, because there is no supply.

About 2.5 lakh standard cubic meters of natural gas are consumed daily in the city of Kanpur in filling stations, industries and households. At present, 80 thousand standard cubic meters of gas are being supplied every day. Till now 12 CNG filling stations have been closed. CUGL says that efforts are on to end the crisis of CNG, so that there is no effect on domestic gas. At present, CNG and PNG are being given by cutting.
