Tokyo: At the most recent Arab Charity Bazaar, the ambassadors of Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait gave money to the Japanese Red Feather Welfare Fund (RFWF).
Around 1,500 people attended the bazaar in Tokyo, which featured 17 Arab embassies. All proceeds from the sales at the various booths were given to charity.
Ambassadors Hassan Al Emadi of Qatar, Ambassador Ahmed Aldoseri of Bahrain, and Ambassador Sami Al-Zamanan of Kuwait presented the donation to RFWF President Seike Atsushi.
Bahrain's ambassador to Japan, Aldoseri, stated, "It is our pleasure to donate the proceeds to show that we support Japan and the Japanese people."

Seike said he was "deeply and sincerely grateful for the kind donation." People are struggling for a variety of reasons, such as natural causes, natural hardships, social isolation, and more, he continued. Obviously, the government should be able to assist, but there is still room for the civil community to offer assistance to those in need. Therefore, your generosity is essential, and we sincerely appreciate it.

However, he stressed that the donation was more than just the money obtained from the bazaar: "There is also the very precious flow of warmth from your hearts and minds to help people. Due to this, your donation is extremely valuable, and we sincerely appreciate it.

There is a responsibility placed upon embassies, ambassadors, and embassy staff as well, Ambassador Aldoseri responded on behalf of the ambassadors. Because the three of us, all of our countries, have excellent relations with Japan and the Japanese people, we as diplomats must share in their suffering and do everything in our power to assist the friendly people of Japan.
