Ujjain: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) raided the house of Dharmendra Chauhan, who is posted as a clerk in the education department in Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh, following which movable and immovable properties worth crores of rupees have been recovered in the operation. According to the EOW official, the culprit has been the PA of the former Zila panchayat president.
The team took action at three locations of the same Dharmendra Chauhan and due to the action, movable and immovable property worth crores of rupees have been recovered from him. According to the EOW official, records of three plush houses, land worth crores of rupees, tractors, thresher machines, four-wheelers, several lockers in the bank and FDs etc. have been recovered in the village Dharedi, which are being investigated. At present, a case of disproportionate assets has been registered against Dharmendra Chauhan.
EOW SP Dilip Soni said that Dharmendra Singh Chauhan is currently a babu in the education department. There was an incident of disproportionate assets in which the EOW duly took action at their different places, and due to the investigation, a lot of documents and some valuables have been found in respect of which further action is being taken. Dilip Soni said that action is currently underway at three places of Chauhan. It includes two houses in Ujjain in addition to the godown and one house present in Badnagar village.
