New Delhi: A total of 30,615 new cases of corona infection have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours, which is 11.7 per cent more than yesterday. With this, the total number of corona positive patients in India so far has increased to 4 crore 27 lakh, 23 thousand 558. In the last 24 hours, a total of 514 patients have also died of corona across the country. So far, a total of 5 lakh 9 thousand 872 patients have died of corona in the country. According to the Union Health Ministry data, the total number of active cases across the country has come down to 3,70,240. Active cases have dropped to 0.87 per cent of the total infections.

A total of 52 thousand 887 patients have recovered across the country in the last 24 hours, which is more than one and a half times the number of new cases. So far, a total of 4 crore, 18 lakh, 43 thousand, 446 people have been cured of corona in the country. Under the nationwide vaccination drive, so far, more than 173 crore doses of anti-corona vaccines have been given. Yesterday, 41 lakh 54 thousand 476 doses were administered, after which 173 crore 86 lakh 81 thousand 476 doses of the vaccine have been given so far.

Let us tell you that in the southern state of Kerala, corona cases are still coming out in a big figure. After the cases dropped below 10,000, there was a partial increase in daily cases with 11,776 new cases being reported on Tuesday. With this, the total number of patients infected with corona in the state so far has increased to 64,28,148.
